Job Summary

iStaff Recruitment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Invoice Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing invoicing and administrative tasks related to brokerage, transportation, and intercompany expenses.

This role requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

About You
  • You have a Grade 12 qualification and financial qualifications.
  • You possess over 3 years of accounting experience, specifically dealing with invoicing and accounts payable.
  • You have experience working in a transport or logistics company.
  • Pastel experience is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage invoicing and administrative tasks related to brokerage, transportation, and intercompany expenses.
  • Ensure precise record-keeping and punctual payments.
  • Foster effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and process invoices for brokerage services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed-upon rates and terms.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all brokerage transactions and liaise with the finance team to rectify any discrepancies.
  • Record and process transporter GRVs, ensuring all entries are comprehensive and correctly assigned.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to guarantee timely receipt and verification of transporter documents.
  • Record and process miscellaneous expenses, ensuring all required approvals and supporting documentation are attached.
  • Document and track miscellaneous company expenses and guarantee timely payment.
  • Manage communication with credit guarantee providers, guaranteeing proper documentation and follow-ups.
  • Monitor the status of credit guarantees and inform relevant departments of any changes.
  • Create and process payment packs, guaranteeing all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to facilitate punctual payments to suppliers and service providers.
  • Create and process intercompany invoices and expenses, guaranteeing compliance with internal policies.
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts and address any discrepancies promptly.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is R320,000 - R380,000 per annum, depending on experience.
