Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Product Development Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for a set portfolio of products, driving continuous improvement, and delivering financial results.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic position that requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, finance, and business administration. The successful candidate will have 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product strategies for the portfolio, driving continuous improvement and innovation
  • Conceptualize and operationalize solutions that drive efficiency and cost savings
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring delivery of financial results
  • BUILD effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the building materials industry
  • Strong knowledge of pricing and sourcing strategies, as well as negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
