Baxter is embarking on a transformative journey to separate our ~$5B Kidney Care segment into a standalone company, Vantive. This bold move will leverage our nearly 70-year legacy in acute therapies and home and in-center dialysis to deliver exceptional care to those we serve. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive company growth and profitability.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Create and present business cases to senior management for review and approval.
  • Negotiate and finalize business deals and agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of business development initiatives, including ROI and other key performance indicators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of success in identifying and executing business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscapes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective business development strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business development software.
