The On The Road Sales Specialist role at Alinta Tech Solutions presents a fantastic opportunity for a sales-driven individual to excel in a dynamic environment.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products/services to customers within a designated territory. With extensive travel requirements, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of our product offerings, this position demands the ideal candidate to have a proven track record in sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.

We offer a competitive salary of R250,000 per annum, taking into account the location and industry standards. This figure is subject to negotiation based on experience and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary Management: Effectively manage your online diary with support from the admin team.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in the following software:
    • Online ordering portal
    • Skynamo tracking system
    • OneDrive (file sharing)
    • Outlook (emails and online calendar)
    • Excel
  • Order Management: Take orders during client visits and enter them during the day or after hours using our online ordering portal.
  • Store Visits: Visit retail and professional stock locations for product launches, kit checks, merchandising, troubleshooting, product spotlights, and general value additions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong organizational, administrative, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Time Management: Ability to complete work promptly and seek support when needed.
  • Task Completion: Understand the importance of task completion, supporting multiple communication devices/software (WhatsApp, emails, calls, online diary).
  • Learning Ability: Capable of learning and following company SOPs.
