We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Oxyon People Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue and margin growth through the development, planning, and execution of sales strategies for our company's equipment in the South Africa, Gauteng region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to promote the growth of our company's product portfolio and achieve sales targets.
- Manage sales leads through to closure and monitor against approved budgets to ensure financial results are on, or ideally above, target.
- Present and demonstrate our company's product range and associated benefits to customers and dealers.
- Negotiate sales contracts and associated product supply milestones.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the region, industry, and customer needs and requirements.
- Supervise the implementation of new products and features.
- Represent us in industry events and trade shows and collaborate with the Marketing Communications Group.
- Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts as required.
- Degree/Diploma in Land Surveying (Geomatics) or Engineering Survey.
- 5 years of commercial experience in Land Surveying, Mapping, and analysis.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Resourcefulness, flexibility, and a sense of urgency.
- Excellent English language skills, written and verbal.
- Proven industry experience in selling products and services to end users or applied knowledge of implementing solutions in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of a wide range of surveying equipment and customer requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels and functions.
- Entrepreneurial drive and a strong work ethic.
- Strong sense of urgency, responsibility, and accountability.
- Willingness to travel for business.
- Adherence to our parent company values.
