About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished professional to fill the position of Senior HR Business Partner for African Bank. As a key member of our HR team, you will partner with senior leaders to drive business outcomes through effective human capital management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with a focus on talent management, succession planning, and performance management. You will work closely with senior leaders to design and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and development.

Your expertise in strategic planning, change management, and leadership development will enable you to drive business outcomes and achieve our organizational goals. You will also provide guidance on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, ensuring a fair and inclusive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with senior leaders to drive business outcomes through effective human capital management
  • Designing and implementing talent management programs, including succession planning and performance management
  • Providing guidance on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
  • Collaborating with senior leaders to develop and execute employee engagement and retention strategies
  • Driving business outcomes through strategic planning, change management, and leadership development

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Professional certifications: SABPP HR Professional registration/ Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR/ SHRM)
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in human capital and people management, ideally in a senior HC role
