Senior Sales and Business Development Manager

MECS Africa seeks a highly skilled Business Development and Sales Expert to drive sales growth and revenue expansion in Sub-Sahara Africa.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve budgeted sales and growth rates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to position MECS Africa as a preferred supplier.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Manage sales staff, including mentorship and training programs, to ensure effective sales performance.
- Formulate sales policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Process orders and contracts into production, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Organize an effective administrative system to maintain documentation and track sales progress.
Requirements:
- Marketing qualification with technical knowledge in fabrication.
- Proven sales experience in SMPP fabrication discipline with a focus on Sub-Sahara Africa.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001/2008 Quality Management System.
- Ability to travel extensively.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Reaching pre-agreed budgeted sales and gross margin ratios.
- Ensuring product range sales growth at budgeted levels.
- Maintaining an open and honest relationship with management and peers.
Business Fundamentals:
- Drive up volumes and negotiate prices up.
- Reduce costs and increase profitability.
