Salary
The compensation package for this role includes a basic salary of R20,000.00 plus commission, pension, incentives, and a 13th cheque. This hybrid position offers one of the best commission rates in the country, resulting in an average take-home pay of R45,000.00 per month.
Job Description
As a Personal Lines Insurance Sales Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to source leads and achieve sales targets primarily on personal insurance. You will be expected to build relationships with commercial lines insurance specialists and employees within other insurance divisions to identify opportunities for growth and development. Your key tasks will include:
- Facing customers directly to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions.
- Prospecting for new business opportunities and identifying potential leads.
- Meeting sales targets through effective communication and negotiation skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A matric/Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
- FAIS credits (120) and a valid FAIS regulatory examination for representatives (RE5) certificate.
- A minimum of three years' experience in sales, with proof of previous commission earned.
- Your own transport (car) and a valid driver's license.
