C40 Cities is looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join its team. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing operational support on complex employee relations matters and driving organisational change initiatives. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and experience in Employee Relations and Project Management.

About the Job:

You will be responsible for overseeing timelines and deliverables for multiple people-related projects across various functions and regions. You will also coordinate integration and organisational transformation activities, including the development and execution of policies, processes, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee project timelines and ensure timely and successful execution
  2. Coordinate organisational transformation activities, including policy development and implementation
  3. Draft and manage communication strategies to address employee engagement and support organisational transitions during change initiatives
  4. Provide operational support in handling employee relations matters, such as performance management and terminations
  5. Partner with internal stakeholders on regulatory reporting and governance obligations
  6. Support the People team with strategic presentations, reports, and initiatives to drive HR goals
  7. Gather and analyze people metrics to inform decision-making and evaluate the success of initiatives

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  2. 3+ years of experience in Employee Relations, Project Management, or a similar role, with exposure to M&A activity in a global organisation
  3. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  4. Strong communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level presentations
  5. Proficiency in HRIS and project management tools
  6. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify problems and drive process improvement
  7. Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
