Employee Relations Specialist

C40 Cities is looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join its team. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing operational support on complex employee relations matters and driving organisational change initiatives. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and experience in Employee Relations and Project Management.
About the Job:
You will be responsible for overseeing timelines and deliverables for multiple people-related projects across various functions and regions. You will also coordinate integration and organisational transformation activities, including the development and execution of policies, processes, and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project timelines and ensure timely and successful execution
- Coordinate organisational transformation activities, including policy development and implementation
- Draft and manage communication strategies to address employee engagement and support organisational transitions during change initiatives
- Provide operational support in handling employee relations matters, such as performance management and terminations
- Partner with internal stakeholders on regulatory reporting and governance obligations
- Support the People team with strategic presentations, reports, and initiatives to drive HR goals
- Gather and analyze people metrics to inform decision-making and evaluate the success of initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Employee Relations, Project Management, or a similar role, with exposure to M&A activity in a global organisation
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level presentations
- Proficiency in HRIS and project management tools
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify problems and drive process improvement
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
