Digital Marketing Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Manager to join our team at Deka Minas (Pty) Ltd. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage digital acquisition activities, including social media, display advertising, and performance marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with our media agency and specialist teams to optimize campaign performance and reach maximum KPIs.
  • Manage communication with multiple vendors and third-party trackers to achieve acquisition objectives.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Monitor and minimize campaign acquisition fraud.
  • Plan and create A-B test campaigns with the media agency to optimize campaign and creative performance.
  • Suggest new digital channels to increase new user numbers in an efficient way.
  • Formulate and implement digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Coordinate group digital marketing reporting.
  • Lead the social strategy, performance marketing agenda, and digital marketing implementation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field with a strong quantitative background.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing (min 5 years), and extensive experience in managing digital marketing at technology companies.
  • Digital media agency experience is essential.
  • Proficient in strategy with regards to digital ads platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, Twitter Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.
  • Experience in planning and managing ad networks for acquisition campaigns.
  • Basic understanding of organic acquisition such as App Store Optimization (ASO) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Experience in setting up platform integration with third parties for campaign set-up and tracking purposes.
  • Creative in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage consumers.
  • Good understanding of mobile attribution tools (e.g. Firebase, Facebook SDK and Adjust).
  • Understand the basics of mobile app install fraud methods and its monitoring tool.
  • Good understanding of Google Analytics 4.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Ability to generate meaningful reports using tools such as Google Looker Studio.
  • Experience in handling programmatic ad buying would be a plus.
