Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

**Job Overview**
Status Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials, and maintaining excellent supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the purchasing process, including integrating and optimizing all steps required to meet bottling production raw material requirements.
- Maintain supplier relationships and provide professional customer service.
- Oversee and direct staff to ensure timely arrival of raw materials and adherence to supplier food safety and quality assurance requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and written confirmation of delivery dates, are up-to-date in the SAGE system.
- Keep internal departments informed of any changes in purchasing order progress or delivery.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date price list database and filing system.
- Ensure timely annual updates of standard costs in SAGE.
- Oversee the procurement function to ensure the smooth flow of raw materials for production utilization at HOOW and other specific clients are managed effectively and procured at the best price.
- Ensure annual supplier price negotiations and rebate calculations are carried out on time.
- Monitor and report on rework, deviation, CAR, and customer complaints.
- Take minutes at production meetings and keep records thereof.
- Prepare and distribute action logs on time.
- Provide regular feedback on order status to the production team.
- Flag problems with timing of dry goods delivery dates at least two weeks before production commences.
- Monitor stock holdings of dry goods at suppliers and maintain stock reports by reconciling the SAGE system with supplier records.
- Investigate and monitor in-house inventory movements on the SAGE system.
- Assist in stock taking reconciliations on a monthly basis according to stock taking procedures.
- Compile and maintain a stock loss analysis report.
- Update SLA and KPI reports in a timely manner.
- Provide reports to management as required.
- Submit Time & Attendance reports in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- A recent professional profile photo must accompany your application.
- Matric/Grade 12, along with a relevant tertiary qualification in procurement in a FMCG environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, and SAGE.
- A minimum of five years' experience in a similar role and environment.
- Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
- A good understanding of supply chain processes.
- The ability to work accurately, meticulously, and with high attention to detail.
- Patient, tactful, diplomatic, and approachable demeanor.
Estimated Salary Range: R800,000 - R1,200,000 per annum based on market-related rates and location.
