We are looking for a highly motivated Retail Customer Experience Specialist to join our team at Armstrong Appointments in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating disparate sources of information into coherent business messages easily translatable to strategy/action.

The estimated salary for this position is R1,150,000 per annum, considering the retail industry standards and cost of living in Cape Town.

Job Description:

  1. To develop effective relationships with teams to understand their challenges and priorities and customize the insights integration strategy accordingly.
  2. To support the Customer Insights & Advanced Analytics manager as a key influencer and trusted source with regards to all commercial proposition and product design decisions.
  3. To ensure the full scope of the business requirement is understood and communicated, and review output of Customer Insights & Analytics team to ensure quality and consistency.
  4. To execute the analytics and insights briefing process and demand management work flows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A 3-year degree/diploma in commerce, marketing, science, or business science or any related field of study.
  • 2-5 years of experience working with customer strategy and insights generation.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in customer strategy design and implementation and customer insights.
  • Experience in effectively interacting across multiple BUs and in the retail industry.
