EB Administration Manager

We are seeking an experienced EB Administration Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our employee benefits programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of benefits services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits Program Management: Manage the daily operations of our employee benefits programs, including personnel management, absence oversight, and training coordination.
  • Administrative Supervision: Supervise the administrative department and employees, providing guidance and support to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Client and Member Support: Assist with client complaints and internal improvement requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Service Delivery: Monitor and manage incoming work fluctuations and tasks within the department to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • SLA Management: Maintain client and member SLAs, ensuring the department stays within SLA by monitoring team delivery output.
  • Compliance and Governance: Adhere to legislation, policy, and procedures, ensuring compliance and effective governance.
  • Process Improvement: Develop, review, and improve administrative systems, policies, procedures, and objectives to enhance service delivery.
  • Training and Development: Provide training on products, provider requirements, and processes to employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills to deliver high-quality services.
  • Team Meetings and Communication: Plan, manage, and present team/department meetings as required, including taking and distributing minutes.
  • Service Provider and Administrator Relationships: Manage service provider and administrator relationships, escalating cases where required, and arranging portal access as needed.
  • Billing and Compliance: Monitor billing to ensure deadlines and requirements are met, and manage Binder Front-Office functionality, including preparation of monthly reports and annual audits.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years' management function-related experience in employee benefits administration.
  • Skills: Proficient in advanced Excel and advanced knowledge of employee benefits rules, FICA, FAIS, and TCF.
  • Qualifications: Regulatory Examination Certificate (RE5): Representative, NQF Level credits, Certificate of Proficiency, Business administration qualification or equivalent, and Management qualification or equivalent.
