About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EB Administration Manager to join our team at IOCO. As an EB Administration Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that employee benefits programs run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Benefits Program Management: Daily management of personnel, including performance appraisal, absence management, oversight, and coordination of required training.
  • Administrative Department Oversight: Supervision of the day-to-day operations of the administrative department and employees.
  • Client Complaint Resolution: Assistance with the investigation and follow-up actions resulting from client complaints or internal mandatory improvement requests.
  • Service Delivery Optimization: Understanding and management of incoming work fluctuations and tasks within the department to ensure good quality of service delivery.
  • SLA Management: Maintenance of client and member SLAs and ensuring the department stays within SLA by monitoring the team's delivery output.
  • Compliance and Governance: Adherence and compliance to legislation, policy, and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Training and Development: Provision of training on products, provider requirements, and processes to employees.
  • Team Management: Planning, managing, and presenting team/department meetings as required, including the taking and distribution of minutes.
  • Service Provider Management: Managing of service provider and administrator relationships and escalating cases where required, including the arrangement of portal access at the relevant service providers and/or administrators.
  • Billing and Compliance: Monitoring of billing to ensure deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Binder Front-Office Management: Management of Binder Front-Office functionality, including preparation of monthly reports and annual audits to ensure compliance with the Binder SLA.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years' management function-related experience in employee benefits administration.
  • Skills: Proficient in advanced Excel, advanced knowledge on employee benefits rules, FICA, FAIS, and TCF, advanced knowledge of employee benefits processes.
  • Qualifications: Regulatory Examination Certificate (RE5): Representative, NQF Level credits, Certificate of Proficiency, Business administration qualification or equivalent, Management qualification or equivalent.
