Job Type: Temp contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Administrator to join our team on a fixed term contract. This role will involve managing daily accounting tasks as well as providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Accounting Duties:
- Post and process bank and journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Review expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
- Assist with other accounting projects as needed.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage office supplies and place orders when necessary.
- Organize and schedule appointments.
- Plan meetings and take detailed minutes.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Develop and maintain a filing system.
- Maintain contact lists.
- Book travel arrangements.
- Submit and reconcile expense reports.
- Provide general support to visitors.
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
