Employee Relations Specialist

The Employee Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the HR department at BOSS Consult. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with Operations to address IR concerns and assist in drafting charges.
- Collaborate with SEESA to resolve IR issues, including scheduling of Disciplinary Enquiries, Consultations, and Department of Labour audits.
- Ensure timely receipt of Disciplinary Enquiry outcomes from SEESA and liaise with Operations to discuss outcomes.
- Issue sanctions to staff and schedule preparation sessions for initiators.
- Train initiators on presenting their cases before the Chairperson.
- Keep the CEO informed of CCMA cases and schedule preparation sessions with the CEO.
- Review bundles, prepare witnesses, and complete cross-examination questions.
- Update Warning tracker, Disciplinary Enquiry tracker, and CCMA Tracker daily.
- Assist the Operations department with drafting warnings, if necessary.
- Liaise with SEESA regarding Incapacity Enquiries (Performance & Ill Health) and initiate matters, if required.
- Ensure timely attendance to Labour audits and inform the CEO of any Labour audits related to National Minimum Wage.
- Complete relevant objections for DOL Audits.
