Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Guardian Recruiting. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide reception duties and maintain a secure environment
• Assist with new employee onboarding and support the Marketing Team
• Manage office supplies, including ordering and tracking equipment
• Coordinate and control stationery supplies, and liaise with service providers for office maintenance needs
• Label and track equipment, maintaining asset records
• Manage parking allocations, office access, keys, and remotes
• Update office procedures, including kitchen and internal protocols

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Office Administration or equivalent
• Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Driver licence
• Grade 12 with Math (Pure mathematics)
• 0-2 years of experience in a similar role, would be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent writing & communication Skills (English & Afrikaans)
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
