Job Title: Expert Talent Acquisition Lead for Software Engineering

Estimated Salary: R1,200,000 - R1,800,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced talent acquisition expert to join our team as a Senior Talent Partner. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for delivering on our talent strategy, working closely with functional leadership and business partners to understand our hiring needs and challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute effective talent attraction strategies and hiring processes, including sourcing, candidate events, and utilising tools such as our ATS, headcount planning, and managing both candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Act as the talent acquisition SME for your group, engaging proactively with hiring managers around their future talent needs, utilising mechanisms like talent blueprinting and succession planning.
  • Utilise data and insights to inform decisions for TA and hiring teams, ensuring that Yoco's talent profile is authentically reflected in candidate communication, employer branding initiatives, and our approach to interviews and assessments.
About You:

We are looking for a strategic and consultative individual with at least 7 years' experience hiring tech talent in South Africa, preferably in-house recruitment with a focus on Software Engineers. Experience hiring in European markets would be an advantage.

  • You take a positive, proactive, and creative approach to problem-solving, with a strong ability to create fair but balanced solutions for the business and TA team.
