Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PE Coach/First Additional Language Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education and isiZulu language instruction to students, while also contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging physical education and isiZulu language lessons to students
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop rigorous and engaging learning experiences
- Lead weekly Social Emotional Learning (SEL) circles and implement the SPARK Schools SEL curriculum
- Use SPARK culture and implement behaviour management strategies
- Administer and mark formative and summative assessments to track student progress
- Submit student results data when required
- Attend professional development and training interventions
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
- B.Ed. degree or PGCE - Intermediate/Senior Phase with isiZulu as a Major Subject
- Certification through the South African Council of Educators (SACE)
- English and isiZulu languages fluency
