Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Phase English Home Language Educator to join our team at SPARK Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in English language and literacy, as well as contributing to the development of our curriculum and instructional programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in English language and literacy to students in the Senior Phase
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness and developing strategies to support student growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional programs that meet the needs of all students
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity and promotes social-emotional learning
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed
Requirements
  • English language fluency
  • Completed B.Ed or PGCE degree in English Senior phase or English Home Language FET
  • SACE registration
  • Clear/Clean criminal record

SPARK Schools has multiple locations in Gauteng Province, including Riversands, Rivonia, and Midrand.
