Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Phase isiZulu Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in teaching isiZulu and have a proven track record of driving student achievement.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver face-to-face and distance lessons for Senior Phase isiZulu scholars.
- Collaborate with grade level and content area partners to develop rigorous, engaging learning experiences.
- Participate actively in all scheduled professional development sessions.
- Develop and administer formative and termly assessments to track student progress.
- Lead scholar social and emotional development through CQ sessions and reflections.
- Plan and deliver programmes to support low-performing scholars or extend high-performing scholars.
- Participate in place-based education and career and tertiary pathways education.
- Develop SPARK culture and implement behaviour management strategies.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
- English language fluency.
- IsiZulu language fluency.
- Completed B.Ed or PGCE degree in isiZulu Home Language Senior/FET or isiZulu First Additional Language Senior/FET.
- Minimum 3-5 years teaching experience, including Grd 11 and Grd 12 experience.
- SACE registration.
- Clear/Clean criminal record.
