Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated FET Phase Mathematics Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and co-teaching face-to-face and distance lessons, developing and implementing high-quality individualized behavior and learning plans, and participating in all scheduled professional development sessions.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver academic and clubs lessons to students
- Collaborate with grade level and content area partners to develop rigorous and engaging learning experiences
- Develop and administer formative and termly assessments to track student progress and analyze data for student growth
- Lead scholar social and emotional development through CQ sessions and reflections
- Participate in place-based education and career and tertiary pathways education
- Develop SPARK culture and implement behavior management strategies
- Communicate professionally and effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
- English language fluency
- Completed B.Ed or PGCE degree in Mathematical Sciences/Mathematical Literacy FET
- 3-5 years of experience teaching High School scholars, including Grd 11 and Grd 12
- SACE registration
- Clear/Clean criminal record
