Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This role will focus on driving sales growth and expanding our market presence in the articulated dump truck and wheel excavator segments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Generation: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for the TA230 articulated dump truck and Wheel Excavator. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Product Knowledge and Presentation: Have a developed and in-depth understanding of the TA230 articulated dump truck and wheel excavator, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, highlighting the TA230's capabilities and suitability for their specific needs. Guide/support the rest of the EMT Sales managers and dealers on the sale of ADTs and WEX.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Provide feedback to management on market trends and customer needs to inform product development and sales strategies.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations. Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements to close deals effectively.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in the heavy machinery or construction equipment industry, preferably with a focus on articulated dump trucks.
Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is R1,200,000 - R1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience.
