Job Description:The ideal candidate will have relevant 1st line / Service Desk and Remote Desktop support experience, with a strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems and Windows desktop technologies.
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or remote desktop connection, assisting them with hardware and software issues.
- Maintain a high level of customer service for all support queries, adhering to service management principles and taking ownership of user problems.
- Log all calls on the call logging system and maintain full documentation, responding to client enquiries and helping them resolve hardware or software problems.
- Maintain a log of software or hardware problems detected and provide training and advice to users in the use of computer equipment.
- Strong communication skills
- Relevant experience with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Outlook within a network environment
- Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration
- Excellent telephone manner and face-to-face communication skills
