Service Desk Specialist

A leading organisation is seeking a Service Desk Specialist to provide top-tier support in a fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for someone with strong technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Logging and managing support tickets efficiently.
- Handling inbound and outbound calls.
- Generating internal and external reports.
- Monitoring links and managing faults through internal processes.
- Collaborating with resolver groups and vendors to drive issue resolution.
- Dispatching Field Support Technicians when required.
- Providing first-call resolution where possible.
- Ensuring timely and professional communication with all stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong technical acumen (CCNA certification is desirable).
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts.
- Excellent English communication and report-writing skills.
- The ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment.
- A proactive approach with good judgment and teamwork skills.
