Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Dream Hotels and Resorts. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills, culinary expertise, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

About the Role:

  • Culinary Leadership: As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
  • Team Management: You will supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that the team performs efficiently and effectively.
  • Menu Planning and Development: Working closely with our Executive Chef, you will be involved in menu planning, recipe development, and creating daily specials.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation regulations, and hygiene practices is a crucial responsibility of this role.
  • Inventory and Cost Control: You will assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing food wastage.
  • Quality Assurance: Regular quality checks on ingredients, dishes, and final plating will be conducted to ensure consistency and adherence to culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff activities, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Develop and implement menu plans, recipes, and daily specials.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation regulations, and hygiene practices.
  • Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients, dishes, and final plating.

Requirements:

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to train and develop kitchen staff.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
