Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team at SGS. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the HR Department, ensuring the smooth operation of HR projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist with the coordination of local and global HR projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Data Management: Capture and maintain accurate data on HR projects and initiatives, including tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • HR Audits: Assist the Human Resource Business Partner in conducting audits of the HR Department, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits of HR and Payroll Division systems and personnel files, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Human Resource Business Partner, including preparing reports, maintaining records, and performing other tasks as required.
  • Personnel Files: Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
  • Payspace Management: Update and maintain Payspace, including electronic filing and contract renewals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Payroll System: Capture new engagements, promotions, transfers, and terminations on the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • HR Documentation: Review and update HR documentation, including engagement packs and contracts of employment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Electronic Filing System: Maintain the electronic filing system on HR Sharepoint, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Quality and Safety: Maintain quality, efficiency, and confidentiality of service within the HR function, adhering to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by the direct line manager, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Minimum academic qualification: Grade 12; HR qualification advantageous.
