Job Description:

We are looking for a results-driven individual with 3 years of sales experience in a FMCG company. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving sales targets as determined by brand
  • Developing and executing sales plans for regions, channels, brands, and areas
  • Managing key accounts by channel
  • Setting up and executing brand building activities according to brand and channel
  • Promoting and selling products through a relationship-based approach
  • Calling on customers as per the agreed calling schedule
  • Making telephone calls to existing and prospective customers to achieve sales volumes
  • Managing in-store support to sell products through promotions, tastings, and displays
  • Researching sources for developing prospective customers and information to determine their potential
  • Creating and managing customer value plans for existing customers
  • Identifying advantages and comparing organizations' products/services
  • Supplying management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for sales, high levels of integrity, and be highly motivated with the ability to use initiative and drive results.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our clients, understand their needs, and develop strategies to meet those needs.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of sales experience in a FMCG company
  • Degree or Diploma in Sales
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle

The salary range for this position is R25,000 - R30,000 cost to company, inclusive of medical aid, retirement annuity, and vehicle allowance. There is also a quarterly incentive target achievement-based model.
