Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the Company's presence in the market.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the SME sector.
  • Responsible for achieving sales targets through lead generation, prospecting, client meetings, proposal development, and presentation.
  • Formulate strategies to secure new business and increase market share.
  • Manage CRM tools and negotiate rates with suppliers.
  • Handle operational, financial, and other queries.
  • Client entertainment and awareness creation.
  • Stay updated on industry changes and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Matric essential.
  • Previous Clearing & Forwarding sales experience required.
  • 7 years or more proven sales track record required.
  • Previous formal sales training required.
  • Strong understanding of the SME sector and its unique logistics needs.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Well-presented, professional individual with excellent written and verbal language skills.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial information.
  • Full computer literacy.
  • Ability to create and implement strategies.
  • Ability to work within a target-driven and pressured environment.
