Senior Sales Director for SME Development

Boardroom Appointments seeks a seasoned sales professional to lead the development of our Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise (SME) sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the Company's presence in the market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the SME sector.
- Responsible for achieving sales targets through lead generation, prospecting, client meetings, proposal development, and presentation.
- Formulate strategies to secure new business and increase market share.
- Manage CRM tools and negotiate rates with suppliers.
- Handle operational, financial, and other queries.
- Client entertainment and awareness creation.
- Stay updated on industry changes and requirements.
Requirements:
- Matric essential.
- Previous Clearing & Forwarding sales experience required.
- 7 years or more proven sales track record required.
- Previous formal sales training required.
- Strong understanding of the SME sector and its unique logistics needs.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Well-presented, professional individual with excellent written and verbal language skills.
- Ability to effectively negotiate.
- Ability to read and interpret financial information.
- Full computer literacy.
- Ability to create and implement strategies.
- Ability to work within a target-driven and pressured environment.
