Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Agent Travel Sales Coordinator to join our team at ABC Worldwide. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for handling the administrative aspects of agent sales, working closely with the Agent Sales Consultant to manage the sales process, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administrative aspects of agent sales, including checking availability, securing space, and confirming services.
  • Work closely with the Agent Sales Consultant to manage the sales process, including reconfirming bookings and updating systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to ad-hoc requests and providing proactive support to colleagues.
  • Proactively grow your knowledge of the company, its products, and the safari tourism environment.
  • Use systems to their maximum potential and play an active role in helping to improve them.
  • Encourage inter-department cooperation and contribute to the reputation of the company as a leading safari operator.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communications skills, a service delivery mindset, and a strong customer service focus.
  • Strong administration and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset and can-do attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in delivering results in a performance-oriented and fast-paced sales environment.
  • Experience and knowledge of the safari tourism environment, with a good understanding of East Africa Safari sales.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in the Cape Town office, Monday – Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break.
  • Work 9 hours per day, with some flexibility, and may be required to work overtime during peak periods.
  • May be required to work alternative South African public holidays, for which you will be compensated with time off in lieu.
