Rhino Africa, a pioneer in luxury safaris and tour operations, seeks an exceptional English Concierge Specialist to join our dynamic Sales Support Team in Cape Town.

We're looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in operations, client experience, supplier engagements, and communication. As the primary point of contact for consultants, you'll be responsible for shaping our travel offerings by assisting guests with reservations, transportation arrangements, and special requests.

Your multifaceted role will involve providing comprehensive administrative support to our Travel Consultants, ensuring efficiency and consistency throughout the client's journey. You'll play a pivotal part in maintaining our competitiveness, profitability, and the overall quality of our travel experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Booking hotel/lodge and logistic reservations based on consultant requirements
  • Distributing travel requests to agents
  • Supporting Sales consultants with all administrative duties
  • Concluding all aspects of the post-confirmation process
  • Enquiry warming (handing over to Senior Consultant)
  • Sales Quotes as the first point of contact to support Senior Sales Consultant
  • Collaborating with Sales Managers to resolve client travel issues
  • Customer service-related responsibilities and performing other office duties assigned
  • Communicating with external suppliers via telephone and email to resolve booking issues
  • Working with our rates team to resolve rates-related tasks and communicating with consultants
  • Logging required tickets relating to rates and products

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A National Senior Certificate/Matric
  • 2 years of experience in a Concierge or Sales Administrative Assistant role in a Tour Operator Environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The willingness and drive to learn
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships
