We are seeking an accomplished African Travel Ambassador to join our esteemed team at Rhino Africa. As a key player in shaping the future of African tourism, you will be instrumental in crafting exceptional travel experiences for our discerning clients.

Your Mission:

As an African Travel Ambassador, you will be responsible for developing and executing tailor-made itineraries that cater to the unique needs and preferences of our clients. Your expertise in operations, client experience, supplier engagement, and communication will ensure seamless travel experiences from beginning to end.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for international clients, providing personalized support and guidance throughout their travel journey.
  • Create captivating quotations and itineraries that exceed client expectations and budgets.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to ensure efficient booking processes and exceptional quality of service.
  • Provide exceptional customer support before, during, and after travel, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets set by our Sales Managers, driving revenue growth and business success.
  • Manage key performance metrics, including enquiries, bookings, E2B, revenue, GP, and GP%.

Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate/Matric.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience within the tour operator environment.
  • Fluent in speaking and writing Spanish.
  • Destination knowledge in Southern Africa, East Africa, and Indian Ocean islands.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and working experience of tour operating software (e.g., Globetrack, Kaptio, Tourplan).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of market trends and client-centricity.

Salary: R400,000 - R600,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
