The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.


Job Description


This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an IT Technical Support Facilitator at CTU Career Chatz. As a facilitator, you will play a crucial role in delivering training programs and ensuring that students receive the highest quality learning experience.


Responsibilities


Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Planning and managing weekly classes
  • Preparing and delivering learning content
  • Preparing the learning environment, including labs, classrooms, research venues, and group activity areas
  • Developing learning materials if required
  • Organizing additional workshops and field trips
  • Marking practical, formative, and summative assessments
  • General academic administration, including recording student attendance, motivating and reinforcing students, identifying students at risk, setting up additional support for students, recording student results, providing program review feedback, moderation reports, completing certifications, and presenting the qualification at open days

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to have:



  • A relevant NQF 6 (Advanced diploma or Advanced certificate in IT qualification)
  • A relevant degree will be advantageous
  • A minimum of three years' experience as a Facilitator/Lecturer for the modules A+, Security, Networking, Powershell
  • Exposure to training methodologies
  • Computer Literacy
  • MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills
