O'Brien Recruitment is seeking an experienced Training Manager to drive our training initiatives forward in a rewarding environment.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing comprehensive training at both DC and Retail levels, championing training initiatives, inspiring and leading the Training Team, and cultivating a culture of excellence.

This role requires strong project management and diagnostic skills, exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders.

About the Role

The Training Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing comprehensive training programs at both DC and Retail levels
  • Championing training initiatives and driving cultural change
  • Leading the Training Team and fostering a culture of excellence
  • Developing and implementing training plans aligned with strategic objectives
  • Maintaining strong relationships with SETAs, learning institutions, and the WCED
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A matric qualification plus an HR/Training qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a training management position
  • Experience in the implementation of training-related legislation
  • Strong project management and diagnostic skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders
What We Offer

O'Brien Recruitment offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:
