About This Role:

This Commercial Manager position plays a key role in driving growth and profitability for UPL's IVM business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies, building relationships with distributors and internal stakeholders, and analyzing data to inform business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the crop protection industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Strategy:
    • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
    • Brief internal stakeholders on commercial performance and progress.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, head office staff, and team members.
    • Foster collaboration and open communication within the team.
    • Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Manage and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Provide insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.

Technical and Marketing Support:

  • Provide technical support to distributors, agents, and farmers.
  • Handle complaints and liaise with the technical department.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and implement marketing plans.
