Sales Job Description

We are seeking a Mid-Market Sales Professional to join our team in South Africa. As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving sales outcomes and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with senior (HR) executives within medium and large enterprise businesses to drive sales outcomes in South Africa.
  • Present the company's solutions in a tailored way that aligns seamlessly with the unique business context and desired goals of each potential client.
  • Attain annual booking targets by consistently adhering to quarterly pacing and successful delivery.
  • Pursue fresh leads among potential prospects, both in a responsive and proactive manner, within the assigned account territory. Additionally, initiate personal outreach efforts to engage key prospects.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales team and cross-functional sales peers to support knowledge share and develop best practices.
  • Develop and take ownership of your individualized Business Development plan.
  • Access new prospects within our target Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to expand our customer base.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Work closely with the local SDR to formulate account plans that address the individual needs of clients sent through as leads.
  • Collaborate with the customer marketing team to ensure the alignment of campaigns with customer needs.
  • Offer valuable customer insights to enable product development of a best-in-class solution.

Requirements:

  • Background in Psychology / HR will be beneficial.
  • Results-oriented yet strongly collaborative approach.
  • Familiarity with and experience selling to the mid-market segment.
  • Proficient and engaging communicator with C-level executives, particularly in virtual settings.
  • Familiarity with selling to professional decision-makers in both mid-sized and large organizations.
  • Exceptional proficiency in utilizing Salesforce CRM, including effective forecasting.
  • Documented success in selling SaaS solutions.
  • Adaptable in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
