Ambitious Customer Service Professional

We are currently looking for an experienced Front Office Host to join our team at our luxury property in Camps Bay.
The successful candidate will oversee daily front office operations, ensuring high employee productivity and efficiency, while maintaining a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Courteously answer enquiries from potential guests
- Accurately process hotel reservations
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns
- Resolve customer issues efficiently to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Allocate rooms to expected arrivals after considering guest preferences and special requests
- Collaborate with other departments to provide exceptional guest service during peak periods
- Manage cash transactions at the front desk and maintain personal bank security
- Analyse customer feedback to drive strategic improvements in guest satisfaction
- Promote guest amenities and services offered
- Recommend local tourist attractions and activities
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A Hotel Management Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong OPERA knowledge
- A valid driver's license and own vehicle (preferred)
In terms of compensation, we offer a competitive salary of around R55,000 - R65,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
