What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)

You will be tasked with verifying and reconciling transport charges following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), raising purchase requisitions in SAP and processing goods receipt verification (GRV) for purchase orders, along with uploading duly authorized invoices. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in providing cash flow projections upon request and ensuring the Adhoc Register is updated, facilitating prompt recovery invoice processing.

Your second area of responsibility involves Customer Charge tasks, where you will be responsible for preparing and communicating distribution forecasts to all customers, ensuring efficient planning and communication. Furthermore, you will compile monthly distribution recoverable charges for finance to issue invoices to customers and take charge of customer statements, following up on payments diligently.

Your expertise in providing inflow fund projections will also be valuable in optimizing cash flow management, as well as being involved in information maintenance, such as reviewing the trailer measurement database, calculating transport fuel impact, updating transport fuel consumption statistics (Green stats), and maintaining local transport statistics for the local budget. Support functions will include handling transport and recovery-related financial tasks, and offering necessary backup for smooth operations. What you'll need

You will need to have a Business/Financial Administration Certificate at NQF level 5 or above. Additionally, a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with exposure to the logístical industry being beneficial. Strong numeracy skills and experience in handling large amounts of data are essential. The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail is crucial. Moreover, you must possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Being a good communicator and a team player is also necessary. Furthermore, you should have PC literacy with an intermediate to advanced level in Google Sheets and Excel.
