**SALES MANAGER**:
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for a strong Sales Manager to lead our local and international Sales Teams.
This role requires someone with strong managerial skills with the ability to motivate and inspire an ever-growing team, a good eye for opportunities, and the ability to oversee multiple projects at once.
**RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:
- Management and ongoing review of Sales team to ensure annual sales targets are achieved
- Work alongside the Tender team
- Identifying key areas for improvement
- Work very closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure the best outcome for the company
- Work alongside and with the Sustainability Department
- Work closely with the Presentation Team to execute successful client presentations and ensure the best possible outcome for the company.
- Supporting members of the sales team on site walks where required
- Working with other Department Heads to streamline the internal processes and ensure the best outcome for the business
- Promote the company & engage with key stakeholders with a view to ensuring the company is invited to tenders (vendor portals etc)
- Work closely with the Legal Department in regards to SLA’s
- Monthly monitoring of sales consultants KPI’s
- Identify key areas for improvement and work closely with the Sales training lead to upskill and improve where required
- Present monthly reports detailing Sales progress in regards to annual targets.
- Administrative functions relating to cost proposal approvals and any other admin requirements relating to the position
**MOBILITY**
- Moderate level of traveling involved on a day-to-day basis and availability to travel per above, as and when required. Must be flexible.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma/Degree in Sales or Marketing
- Our ideal sales manager should have extensive experience with the entire sales process, someone with a successful track record who will be able to inspire the same performance in others.
- Computer literate - full Microsoft suite with particular focus on excel
- Valid Code 08 license and own reliable vehicle
**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Good understanding of waste management industry and associated legislative requirements
- Advanced communication skills both verbal and written
- Must be flexible and self-reliant
- Adapt effortlessly to change
- Excellent time management and organizational skills a must
- Sound commercial reasoning
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Logical and detail orientated methodologies
- Follow-through ability to complete tasks to standard and on time
