**Our Client based Stellenbosch is looking for a Wine Tasting Ambassador**

**Proposed contract : Month to Month**

The position requires a well-kept, professional appearance and a positive attitude. You will be taught on the job about the establishment, its brands, and our back-office procedures. Your past wine industry experiences are important. You must be eager to contribute, willing to work during busy weekends and holidays, and be resilient enough to come to work every day with a good attitude.

**Job Summary**
- Attend to walk in customers and visitors.
- Provide information on establishments brands and offerings.
- Process sales.
- Conduct wine tastings.
- Administrative duties.
- Ensure that the facilities are always adhering to safety, quality, and cleanliness standards.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Grade 12 and/or equivalent
- A relevant tertiary qualification in the wine industry will be an advantage.
- Experience in the hospitality industry will be an advantage.
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in English is required.
- Ability to speak a second language (other than English) will be an advantage.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office with the understanding of a POS system.
- Weekend work required 3 (three) weekends per month.

**Skills Required**:

- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Team player.

Working days are Tuesday to Sunday, including weekends with 1 (one) weekend off per month. We are open from 10h00 until 18h00.

Closing date: 10 August 2023

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
