**PURPOSE**:
The Regional Trainer will be responsible to develop, update and facilitate learning programs and interventions to improve individual and organisational performance. To facilitate employee learning, devise innovative ideas to keep employees engaged and enable them to submit evidence to be assessed for competency.

**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Assess training needs for new and existing employees and identify competency gaps within the organisation.

Keep current on training designs and methodologies.

Provide quality training interventions to trainees (adherence to procedures).

Track and report on training outcomes, competency, and training progression for all employees in the training region.

Manage training satisfaction

Train new and existing employees to company standards.

Provide feedback of delivered staff training.

Maintain and uphold product and service standards.

Process relevant administrative documents (certificates, assessment documents, databases, cycle sheets).

Create training schedules, train and conduct assessments accordingly.

Keep current with service and product offering.

Minimise wastage of resources used during training.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:
Diploma in HR / Training and Development or related qualification.

Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in Hospitality, QSR or FMCG.

Registered Skills Development Facilitator / Assessor accreditation (advantageous).

A valid drivers license and own vehicle

Creative thinker familiar with training methods, trends and techniques.

Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office proficiency.

Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to present and facilitate.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and relationships.

Ability to lead and create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.

Methodical with solid planning, organising and time management skills.

Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritise work.

Ability to use initiative and problem-solve when required.

Ability to work with a high level of attention to detail throughout.

Ability to withstand pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
