The Classroom Trainer supports the Commercial Division through education. Their goal is to drive sales through the development, knowledge and skills of our Retail Store Staff. The successful incumbent will deliver Commerce Education fundamentals through in-store education, assisting in classroom-based education (where applicable), Virtual education and e-learning to support local brands strategies and equity evolution. This involves elevating as a priority the leadership, customer service, artistry, product knowledge skills, social media and sales skills of Retail Store Staff in each door in order to drive Retail performance and sales results.

**Principle Accountabilities**
- Drive Brand Sales through excellence in execution of Commerce Education Fundamentals:

- Facilitate/support Education Manager and Regional Sales Managers/National Operations Managers with all education initiatives
- aligning with Commercial Education and Operations.
- Development of Retail Store Staff as priority - feed the leadership skills through commercial Education, artistry development, product knowledge and customer service skills through observation and leading by example in store, giving them the tools to follow through on brand objectives and strengthen the business through Art and Commerce.
- In-Store Support - share Education Fundamentals through the Sales Team to ensure training initiatives are effectively translated into behaviours that support excellence in service, artistry and product knowledge. This includes supporting and overseeing Skill Certification, In-Store Learning activities, service & artistry skill development, supporting social media engagement, driving adoption of POS technologies and e-learning, etc. as well as participating in in-store Events as required. Demonstrate excellent customer service, selling and model 5-star service experience by directly interacting with consumers on brand messaging, product education, and fulfilling consumer needs. i.e. lead by example.

Communication
- Ensure consistent transparency in collaboration with stakeholders, in store Area Managers and Regional Sales Managers/ National Operations Managers, aligning strategies and communicating up actions and vision to Education Manager.
- Video Learning Content - understand resources to leverage and add to content by creating locally relevant artistry, service and product knowledge-focused tutorial videos for e-learning site in collaboration with the Brand Consumer marketing teams.
- Play active role in refining and evolving the Education and business strategy for the region by:

- Align with Education Manager, National Operations Managers and Regional Sales Managers, leveraging feedback from the field on the effectiveness of education initiatives, gather training needs analysis, staff performance/mystery shop results, and general sales and education business gaps - meeting those gaps through education initiatives and direction for the Retail Store Staff.
- Attending select monthly counter meetings in focus doors with partner, and participating by presenting ideas, discussing departmental developments, coaching and supporting others.
- Executing training solutions to regional challenges.
- Organizing a monthly schedule that supports the needs of the business through efficient communication of Brand Fundamentals and equity evolution through Education department trainings and other educational initiatives, in store time, coaching of Retail Store Staff, meetings, etc.
- Target gaps through tailored training to build on the Retail Staff skills as observed or directed by Area Managers.
- Attending and participating in various developmental Trainings.
- Pursuing continuous self-learning and self-development to achieve maximum potential. Communicate needs clearly to Education Manager.

**Lead and develop employees by**
- Supporting the interviewing and selection of store staff in collaboration with field leaders where necessary, keeping top of mind that onboarding starts at recruitment.
- Ensure Induction procedures are followed consistently and in line with brand guidelines to ensure smooth welcome and integration into the brand.
- Supporting succession planning programs for Counter Managers and store staff by recommending and creating development opportunities.
- Assisting in the implementation of measures to reduce and minimize staff turnover including identifying core issues and understanding of skill levels, communicate expected developmental timelines consistently, whilst acknowledging individual special skills.
- Coaching to performance - Observe store teams' interactions with consumers and provide frequent feedback on job performance in collaboration with the Area Manager. Address Identified development opportunities and create relevant training initiatives to cultivate talent and produce high-performing teams that exceed sales objectives.
