**Be a Client Relationship Manager: Help Businesses Master Board Governance across Africa**
Are you passionate about building relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy helping companies achieve their goals? If so, we're looking for a Client Relationship Manager in Johannesburg
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the clients across Africa have an exceptional experience with Diligent Boards, an industry-leading board management solution. You'll wear many hats, all focused on building long-term success for the valued customers.
**Type: Permanent - Hybrid**
**Salary: Up to R600 000**
**Area: Johannesburg**
**Here's what you'll do**:
- **Customer Success Specialist**: Proactively connect with customers to understand their unique needs, challenges, and goals related to Diligent Boards.
- **Onboarding Lead**: Lead new customers through a smooth onboarding process, including comprehensive training sessions to ensure they can leverage Diligent Boards effectively.
- **Relationship Builder**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations, fostering trust and becoming a trusted advisor.
- **Support Specialist**: Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, addressing any concerns, questions, or technical issues they encounter. Partner with our Global Support Team to ensure prompt resolutions.
- **Product Adoption Strategist**: Become a champion for Diligent Boards by helping customers maximize their usage of all features and functionalities to meet their governance and collaboration needs.
- **Customer Advocate**: Be a champion for your customers within Diligent, representing their voice and feedback to internal teams. This valuable input will drive product improvements and enhancements.
- **Renewal & Expansion Partner**: Collaborate with our sales and expansion teams to ensure customer renewals and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities for other Diligent solutions.
- **Continuous Improvement Champion**: Always seek ways to elevate the customer experience - whether through process improvements, additional support services, or customized solutions tailored to specific needs.
**To thrive in this role, you'll ideally have**:
- 1-3 years of experience in customer success or account management, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- A background in Corporate Governance or experience as a Company Secretary is required.
- Experience with other board management solutions is a bonus.
- A strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for exceeding expectations.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills to connect effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A solution-oriented mindset with a focus on customer success.
- Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changing client needs and product updates.
This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with potential travel across Africa. A driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.
