**P&C Director South and East Africa**

**What this position is about - Purpose**:
In this role you will be responsible for all People and Culture activities of South and East Africa entities with a focus on recruitment, employee performance, execution of learning & development activities within dedicated departments, regions and countries, end-to-end career management, and implementation of all organization design changes. You will be also responsible for the deployment of all Employer Branding activities and D&I focus areas in addition to other strategic processes related to all P&C areas in the respective department. This includes the preparation and the leading of ASP plans for P&C.

**What will you do - Responsibilities**:

- Provide overall strategic P&C leadership to the company, including all divisions. Oversee the development and implementation of P&C policies, programs and services, including recruitment, selection, retention, legal compliance, employee benefits, employee relations, employment practices and procedures, employee communications and employee events ensuring maintaining a diverse, inclusive, healthy and secure workplace and environment
- Be an established Business People Partner for Local ExCom and Operations acting as internal consultant supporting on personnel-related matters that affect performance and business relationships. Nurture a positive organizational climate and culture
- Fully responsible for delivering proper ASP plans and deliver on KPIs in terms of HC, Opex and Capex planning and identifying strategic focus areas
- Rewards and Benefits Management: Shaping reward and recognition structures that encourage the right behaviors and support the achievement of business results. Review and maintain the key reward and recognition processes and initiatives across the entities
- Leadership Capability and talent: runs end-to-end career management to the whole organization, understood as: the execution of Performance Evaluation processes with a focus on the quality of the outcome, assessments management and performance feedback to employees, facilitation of Talent and succession Discussions, creation of tailored development plans for identified Talents, support of staff performance via implementation of L&D solutions
- Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to P&C Director

**Who are we looking for - Requirements**:

- University degree (Business Major with emphasis on Personnel Management preferred)
- Degree in HR Management and/or Industrial Psychology
- Track record of successful project implementations in People & Culture at a global scale, market / factory / HQ experience
- Experience in Disciplinary procedures, CCMA rules and Case Laws
- English language for effective verbal and written communication
- Excellent knowledge of SAP
- Established knowledge in several areas of expertise: Business Partners with knowledge of JTI functions, GBS, Talent Management, L&D, Employer Brands, Communication, Agile Operations, Compensation, Mobility, Organizational Management or Benefits
- Stakeholder engagement experience and People Management and Development
