Support function to the operations team and all employees within the business dealing with day-to-day queries and building a strong people culture. Work closely with the payroll department and to work alongside the HR Team.
- HR Diploma (Advantageous)
- SDF Certification
- Payroll Qualification (Advantageous)
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role (Retail Industry adv)
- Ability and Adaptable when working under pressure
- Good communication Skills on all levels
- Valid Driver’s License - **Code 8 unendorsed**:

- Computer literate, Advanced Excel Skills
- Problem solving skills
- Accuracy and good eye for detail
- Experience in HR Systems
**Duties include**:

- Effectively facilitate all HR and administration functions.
- Coordination of successful staff functions / training interventions.
- Processing employee take-on documentation accurately.
- Employee contract management.
- Invoice processing.
- Managing compliance training to ensure development of competent staff.
- Onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Recruitment function (advertising, shortlisting, scheduling interviews)
- Disciplinary cases and grievances to be resolved timeously.
- Skills reporting function.
- Good communications with all stakeholders at all levels.
- Professional liaison with external suppliers / service providers.
- Maintain healthy employee relationships within the business.
- Updating HR Systems regularly and accurately.
- Timeous resolution and assistance of employee queries.
- Follow up on outstanding paperwork from Operations.
- Reports adhoc (month-end)
- Prep for EXCO / Financial year-end meetings on training requirements etc
