**Main Purpose of the Position**:
To serve customers with excellence through excellent product knowledge and sales technique with the aim of achieving sales and margin budgets.

**Key Responsibility Areas**:
**Sales**
- Capturing On-line orders and arranging deliveries through respective warehouse
- Contact the client should the item ordered not be in stock or available and propose alternative product for purchase
- Ensure that payment has been received for online orders, EFT, s & OBO, s before process
- Send quotes and follow up on quotes
- Phone customers with pending and cancelled shopping carts
- Ensure customer deliveries are executed as planned.

**Administration**
- Report any operational issues with the website immediately to the Website administrator/Team leader
- Monitor the back-end order manager for pending orders and convert to sale
- Escalate any issues regarding Credit card errors or fraud orders on the website to Amanda
- Build a strong relationship with Couriers/Transport companies across the country for execution of deliveries to the client
- General administration skills

**Customer Service**
- To maintain a high level of communication with all customer touch points
- Daily contacts with customers, stores, merchandise, make arrangements for resolving complaints
- Arrange and plan collection and repair of damaged stock delivered to the customer
- Making continuous follow up on all complains logged with the supplier
- Perform investigation of various situations

**Experience and competencies required**:

- Matric
- Sales qualification advantageous
- 2 - 3 Years retail sales experience
- Computer literate
- The Bed Store
- Product and Systems Knowledge would be advantageous
- Extensive product knowledge and industry experience with beds
- Relevant systems and process knowledge of IT4U

- Keep up to date with changes to policies, procedures, and customer delivery
- Ability to manage time, conflict, and stress in a professional manner

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
