Hello, Ecommerce Operations Managers

My name is Nuno Neto and I am the COO at Seth Media - a fast-growing e-commerce drop shipping company based out of Norway specializing in small consumer goods and lifestyle products that combine innovation, function, and style.
We are looking to hire a motivated, experienced Ecommerce Operations Manager who can oversee and manage the entire drop shipping process from China, ensuring a seamless and efficient supply chain, robust supplier relationships, and effective product management. This role requires a deep understanding of the ecommerce landscape, particularly in dropshipping, and the unique challenges and opportunities presented by sourcing products from China.
This is a full-time remote position.

**Requirements**:
We are looking for a Ecommerce Operations Manager specifically with these requirements:

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in ecommerce operations, with a focus on dropshipping.
- Has at least 3+ experience with Supply chain and dropshipping.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end supply chains and sourcing products from China.
- Skilled at vendor/supplier onboarding and management
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Proficient in ecommerce platforms and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

**Nice to have**:

- Fluent in Mandarin

**Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)**:

- Supply Chain Management:

- Oversee the end-to-end dropshipping process, ensuring timely and cost-effective
- delivery of products to customers.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics to identify areas of improvement and
- implement strategies to optimize operations.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure efficient and reliable shipping routes.
- Supplier Management:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers in China.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure the best quality and cost.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with company standards and continuous improvement.
- Address and resolve any supplier-related issues or disputes.
- Product Management:

- Oversee the selection, sourcing, and listing of products on the ecommerce platform.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote selected products and drive sales.
- Monitor product performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize the product portfolio.
- Ensure product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with brand standards.
- Quality Assurance:

- Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Coordinate with suppliers to address and rectify any product quality issues.
- Monitor customer feedback and returns to identify potential product issues and implement corrective actions.
- Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a team of operations specialists, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment within the operations team.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance metrics and set goals.
- Strategic Planning:

- Stay updated with industry trends, challenges, and best practices in dropshipping and ecommerce.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans and initiatives to grow the business.
- Identify and explore new opportunities for expansion or diversification.
