If your answer is **yes**, then Kimberly-Clark has an exciting opportunity available for a senior HR professional in South Africa as a **Human Resources Director** based in **Bryanston.**
**Job Summary**:
As a key part of the South African leadership team, you will play an integral role in the effective development, recommendation, communication, implementation and audit of our people strategies and programs across the South Africa business unit covering one office and two mills.
Your average week likely consists of working on matters related to our HR strategy in South Africa covering aspects such as talent management, talent acquisition, employee engagement, HR governance and compliance, and maintaining sound relationships with the union and government entities. You will also spend some time to work closely with your team in providing valuable leadership, capability building, and the occasional hand in executing HR strategy and operations.
Your key stakeholders will consist of the South Africa Leadership Team and senior team leaders within Kimberly-Clark. You may also occasionally work directly with individual employees on a case-by-case basis.
In this role, you will be reporting to the **MEA HR Director**.
**Key Experience**:
- Union Management: Extensive experience in working with and managing employee union organizations is essential.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience in business partnering with stakeholders at all levels is a must; including experience in partnering with external parties (union and government).
- Team Development: Proven record in developing and building HR team capabilities is required.

**Key Job Responsibilities**:
- Participate as a member of the MEA HR Leadership Team, providing input and assisting with the development of the MEA HR strategies and plans, as well as ensuring the HR function has the right people in all critical roles.
- Lead the HR function for K-C SA - develop and/or align HR strategy to corporate vision and strategy and implement through effective policies, procedures and programs.
- Lead the K-C SA Human Resources talent management development plan, ensuring a strong succession plan is in place and that the overall strength of the HR function and team is as per global standards.
- Lead the Union Agenda with zero conflicts.
- Manage BBBEE compliance and improvements.
