**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to understand, answer and win RFP’s / Tenders
- Ability to prospect effectively
- Manage pipeline to ensure conversion rate is applied to reach targets
- Conduct and report minimum number of sales leads set
- Responsible for securing new clients
- Handle & overcome client objections
- Comfortable with presenting to clients
- System integration and understanding the process of system integration
- E-Commerce knowledge to assist clients with queries and concerns
- Master and understand market trends and seasonality in the market
- Proven success in your sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process
- Be able to execute negotiations through prospecting, cold calling, quantifying and closing deals
- Ability to converse with all levels of a client (Strategic, Tactical & Operational)
- Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure weekly /monthly reports are up to date and submitted on time as required by the business

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12, a degree/diploma/certificate relevant to the industry would be advantageous
- Valid Driver’s Licence and Own vehicle essential
- Matric
- 3 - 5 years sales experience in road freight and distribution

Skills Required:

- Minimum 3 - 5 years sales experience in transport and logistics specifically focussed on road freight and distribution
- Solid sales track record and a stable work history
