Trade Marketing Assistant

The Trade Marketing Assistant will provide support to the Trade Marketing Manager and marketing management team in the development and execution of effective trade marketing strategies. This role will assist in various tasks, including administration, promotional planning, and event coordination.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Promotional Planning: Support the development and implementation of promotional activities, including in-store merchandising, and special events.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of trade shows, launches, conferences, and other marketing events. (some of these may require local travel)
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks, such as budget tracking, report generation, and data entry.
- Material Development: Assist in the creation of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
- Trade Partner Relationships: Support the building and maintenance of relationships with key trade partners
- Performance Tracking: Assist in monitoring and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or in a related field
- Code B driver's licence
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
**Experience required**:
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Google Suite

**Work Environment**:
- This is primarily an office-based role. However, the role may require occasional travel to visit retail locations and attend industry events.
- The role also involves physical tasks such as lifting and carrying boxes of marketing materials.
